Puerto Rico

Drew is the most hard working man I know. He has such great dedication and motivation, initiative, integrity and all of these great qualities he puts into being a husband and at work.

His hard work earned him a trip of a lifetime and he was able to take me with him! We went to Puerto Rico on March 17 and came back on the 23rd.

On our way to Puerto Rico!

View from the airplane.

The resort we stayed at.

The hotel was amazing! It was so big. We were right on the beach and the hotel had many pools also. It was so beautiful and we were treated so great. Time Warner is the best! They paid for our flights, hotel, activities which I will get to in a minute and all of our food. They had a breakfast buffet every morning and provided us with lunch each day and dinner was always so wonderful and tasty.

Island where we went snorkeling

We were able to pick two activities to do and our first one was snorkeling. It was Drew's first time going and at first he was nervous about breathing through that tube thing but he did awesome! It was so much fun. I wish we would have gotten an underwater camera to take pictures. We saw tons of coral and sea urchins and several fish big and small. We also brought home some coral, shells, rocks we found on the beach.

Beach right off the hotel.

Getting some sun!

The second activity we chose was to go on a tour in Old San Juan. We visited the Capitol building/museum and went to the fort that protects the Capitol and also went shopping in Old San Juan.

Right in front of the Capitol Building.

Museum we went to. That is Christopher Columbus.

The fort we went to.

These guys were just hanging out everywhere.

Taking a picture on the fort.

Beautiful view of part of the fort. The fort was so big.

Shopping in Old San Juan.

Drew had meetings the first couple of days from 8 to noon. While he did that they offered some fun classes to the guests. The first one was a cooking class. That was pretty neat. The second  class was salsa dancing but the instructors were running late so I bailed and went tanning instead. The third day was the Olympics activity. We broke up into groups and had three different events to do. The first one was a sand castle one and there was a chant and then the last one was a bean bag toss and making baskets into this giant hoop with giant beach balls. That was a long but fun day.

Tanning on the beach.

Here is our sand castle thing. It had to do with Time Warner. We did a medal and Drew had to present it.

Well that was pretty much it. We left the resort on Thursday and went to another hotel closer to the airport. We definitely needed those extra two days to just relax. We went to the Museum of Arts of Puerto Rico and walked to the beach and just took it easy those last couple of days.

Part of an exhibit in the museum.

Pond outside the museum filled with koi (sp?) fish.

Look how good Drew looks! ;)

I am so proud of this man. He truly works hard and really cares about Time Warner. He is going to do so well in this company- said by several people he met out on his trip. I agree, he has the potential.

I love you Drew! Thank you for working so hard and being the best husband ever and for giving us the honeymoon that we have been waiting for.
