OMG! I'm 20!!!!

Today is my birthday!!!! Wooooo!!! Made it to 20 without being a teen mom, Hooray!!! Haha!
Omg I'm 20! I'm in my twenties. Wait, what? When did this happen? I'm getting old.
Well Drew gets Mondays off so I asked for the 30th off so we can celebrate my birthday.
It was quite an eventful day. We started the day off with some Panda Express and then some shopping. Drew bought me some makeup and underwear from Victoria's Secret. They were having an awesome sale!

We also went to Old Colorado City where they were having Territory Days which is like a farmer's market. It was fun. There were so many people there. A lot of food, music, dancing, and selling going on. We saw a bald eagle there and an owl! Oh haha, there were also people doing zumba in the street.

We watched Harry Potter and had dinner at Applebee's.
We then went to Seven Falls. It was so awesome! There are seven waterfalls and they light them up at night.

When we got home his family sang to me and I blew out my candles.

Umm.....I may not have wished for anything. I was thinking of a couple of things to wish for but I couldn't think of a good one. Oh dang, I just thought of a great one. Darn!!! Well I will tell you guys. I wish that my parents will be happy for me when I get engaged and support me.

Had a great birthday!!!!

May 18

Drew and I met last August in Provo. We talked about a lot of things so that we could get to know each other better. He had said that he didn't see himself getting married any time soon because he had just returned from his mission but if he were to get married that he would be okay with getting married in 8 months. That was May. 18 is his favorite number so it was May 18. We joked around saying that we would get married on May 18. We would joke around with our friends  and tell them this also. It was funny but then our relationship started to get pretty serious and the May 18 joke was becoming a possibility. We were wanting to get married this summer but well my parents were not too happy about that. I asked them how they would feel if we waited another year and they liked that idea a lot more. If it were up to my parents I would not get married until I finished all of my school. I still have a couple years. So hopefully Drew and I will get married next summer. Who knows, maybe even on May 18 :)
Crazy thought though- I could have gotten married today.

Day Off!

Mine and Drew's work schedules don't really work out in our favor but this week we got lucky. Drew works Tuesday through Saturday from noon to ten. So when we hang out it is late and makes it hard for us to go out and do something and Sundays well it's the Sabbath so we can't go out then either. My schedule is not a set schedule so I never know how long I will work. One week I could work Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Sunday and the next Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday. Yesterday was our first day off together. We had brunch at a French bakery. I got a croissant and hot chocolate and Drew got a croissant sandwich.
After brunch we went up to a rock shop and Drew bought me some earrings. While we were driving we saw a giant desk! We just had to take pictures on it.

 Drew had the answer! hehe.

We saw a buffalo on our way home.

Dancing!
We also went to Sonic and got drinks during happy hour. Half off! Wooo! Went back home and drank our drinks in the backyard on some lawn chairs. We had burgers with the family and then went minature golfing. Drew and I made a bet that the winner would get a foot rub. I totally kicked his butt.
I had a great day off!

The Girls

Drew has a pretty big family compared to mine. He has an older brother and four younger sisters. I get along with his family pretty well and that is way nice! I have been able to spend time with the girls these past couple weeks. They are funny girls! Joslyn is the oldest, she is 19. Tessa is 17. Tyne is 15 and Aria is 13.

Tessa took us to the movies the other day.

Well yesterday was Cinco de Mayo and I wanted to go out and get some Mexican food and a pina colada. I did not want to go alone so I invited the girls to go with me. We went to On the Border where Joslyn works. Joslyn is the oldest sister.

15 Things About Me

1. I am an only child. My childhood was pretty boring especially without any pets as well.
2. I have a nemo ear. I can't believe I am sharing this because I hate it but if you know me, you know my nemo ear.
3. I have attended 12 schools. Crazy huh? I hated this. I wanted to be like everybody else who had best friends since first grade.
4. I was born in Mexico and moved to the U.S. when I was 4.
5. Apparently I don't look Mexican. I have been asked if I was Hawaiian, Japanese, and American (Mexican-American I assume).
6. I am a California girl and proud of it! I love the and the beach. If I could I would lay out all day.
7. I really want a black Honda CRV. My roommate in the Fall had one and I got to drive it and I immediately fell in love. Sorry Tiffany.
8. I'm really big into brand names. I have Juicy Couture perfume. I have a pair of True Religion jeans. All of my underwear is from Victoria's Secret. All of my makeup is MAC. I have real UGGs. I hope this doesn't make you think I am a spoiled brat. I don't think I am. I just like nice things. I worked to get these things that I wanted and man I still can't believe I purchased those jeans.
9. I love love love to bake. My favorite is strawberry cheesecake cupcakes. YUM!
10. I would be more than okay if my husband and I lived on the beach in California. Dream home-
11. The one place that I really want to visit is Italy. Great food and awesome sites to see.
12. I am scared to ride on airplanes. I think it was the summer before my senior year I went on an airplane by myself to go to EFY. Getting there was just fine. Coming home was a bit different. I was on a little plane from San Francisco to Fresno. Across the walkway from me was this big military guy. We had quite a bit of turbulence. I have been on planes before but this was bad! I was so scared I thought we were going to die. The big strong military guy was no help. He was freaking out too. We landed just fine but since then I have been scared to go on planes.
13. I am a hostess at Red Robin. I love it. It's pretty easy just have to get used to everything.
14. I am dating this wonderful man and for the first time I get to live in the same city as him. I moved out to Colorado Springs for the summer to be with him and work. We have been dating since September and guess what! We aren't married yet. Shocking I know lol Oh BYU-Idaho.
15. I am very social. I like to be around other people and have a good time. I don't really like being alone. Friendships mean a lot to me.

I don't know how to tag people but you are tagged if you are reading this :) So you gotta do this too!

Housewife?

I would totally be okay with being a housewife.

Today I went to the post office to mail my mom her mother's day present. I took the dog with me for the ride. She loved it. I came home and began to bake. Ran to the grocery store to get whipping cream to make homemade whipped cream for my cupcakes. I made coconut pineapple cupcakes. They were alright.

☑ Kissed my sweetie good-bye as he left for work
☑ Ran errands
☑ Baked some goodies
☑ Greeted my honey when he came home from work
☑ Made the bed
☐ Laundry (Going to do it tonight)
Yup, I can definitely be okay with being a housewife.

P.S. I did do some homework today. I'm such a good girl :)

Colorado People

Okay, so Sunday Drew and I were driving home from church and drove by a park. What do I see happening at this park? Well let me just tell you....I saw people playing volleyball in hats, coats, and gloves. Omg I burst out laughing! I am pretty sure this is the funniest thing I have ever seen. I was laughing so hard I started to cry. Drew didn't know what to do. haha. Who plays volleyball in that? I don't know, guess I'm just used to my California ways.
