Spring Break

Oh how I love spring break! Even though I'm not in school this semester, I really needed the break from all those elementary kids. Drew also gets this week off from school which is great. We get to spend the mornings together. He still has work though 1-10 every night =/ but I guess I'll take what I can get. This past weekend we went camping! First time ever going camping together. It was pretty fun. We went to the sand dunes. We took a couple sleds to go down the dunes on. It wasn't all that successful. Also, it is super hard to walk on sand. You get super tired.

I loved going camping! We made foil dinners and I made a peach cobbler in the dutch oven. We also made breakfast in a bag and had hot dogs and s'mores. It was awesome. We also went to the alligator farm nearby. It was pretty cool seeing all the animals and alligators and we even got to see someone wrestle an alligator.

Making peach cobbler!

Yummy foil dinner!

How cool does this picture look?

No More Being Bored

So my father-in-law called Drew on Saturday morning with an idea. He suggested that if we pay for the repairs for th red car he would just give it to us. The main repair that it needed came out to be 600 dollars. Dad (father-in-law) paid for 200 and we paid 400. It's an older car. It's a 91'. Same age as me :) lol. It's pretty funny, Drew's grandma drove that car, Drew drove that car in high school, the girls drove the car for school and now it's my turn.

I am so grateful that my in-laws have helped us out with the car situation. It is difficult having only one car and both working and going to school. I love my in-laws! I was pretty surprised when Dad offered us the car. What a wonderful blessing we have received. I can now drive to and from work and look for another job as well and not be limited to just walking distance.

Stressing

I have been stressing a lot this month and now I am finally starting to feel at ease. Well first, I had to give a talk today in Sacrament on prayer. I thought it went alright. That really got me stressed this past week. Maybe a bit more than it should have. Also, I am a primary teacher now and I was stressing being prepared for the lesson this week. That turned out alright as well. I did end up having the 8 year olds as well because their teacher did not show. So instead of having 3 kids, I had 8! We did this activity at the end of the class where you get a bowl of water and sprinkle pepper in and then put a drop of dishwashing soap in and see the peeper spread away. It was super neat.
So those were my 2 major things this week. The other things I have now come to relax somewhat about is our sealing this year. We have an appointment all set to be sealed in the Denver Temple in July and we are also having a reception. I have already sent out invitations to my family and I am super excited that they are all coming. I have my dress and my shoes. I have my maid and matron of honor and bridesmaids all set. We are having a ring ceremony as well for just our families and I am going to have my cousin be the flower girl. We have a dress picked out for her. I already have planned out the reception decorations/food/activities. I am just super excited that it is all happening. Last thing I need to do is just send out the rest of our invitations.
