The wedding is less than 3 weeks away!!! Holy cow! Where did all that time go? And OH MY GOSH...it is almost a year that we have been married. This is so exciting but also super stressful. I still have some things to decide and purchase. Really wish I had my maid of honor here to help me with everything. I feel like I am left alone trying to put together an entire wedding. My mom is miles away and my friends are too :( but I'm trying my best. I just hope it turns out ok and how I want it.
We will be getting sealed in the Denver temple. I am sooo happy that I will finally be sealed to my best friend for eternity. Here is a picture of us at that temple. I'm excited that the next picture there will be in my wedding dress. I am also super excited that my mom will be able to be there when we get sealed.
Well I hope I can make it without getting all freaked out and still focus on my class. Wish me luck!

Scariest day of my life
Drew came home from work Saturday and told me that he had another mini stroke. He could not feel his tongue and his right arm and then he got a headache. He was also talking to me on the couch and he was getting words mixed up. An hour or so later his brother and his family came over for dinner. Once we finished eating Drew said that he was feeling worse. We went to the doctors and they told us to go straight to the hospital. I was driving, speeding and freaking out. It was not a long drive but it seemed like it and on the way Drew was getting way worse. He could not feel his left arm, he was drooling, and then his speech was getting impaired. He was starting to cry, he was so scared and I wanted to cry. I was running red lights to get him to the hospital. We got there and they took him in to check his vitals and weigh him and then they just put him on a wheelchair and made him wait out in the lobby. Alright, I guess it's the ER, you have to wait but we waited for 2 hours. Here we are thinking he is having a stroke and we are just waiting. It was ridiculous and Drew was getting impatient. I was so scared I did not know what to do and there was nothing I could do and the only place that could do something was doing absolutely nothing. While Drew was getting checked out I immediately called my mom balling my eyes out. She and my family told me to stay calm and be strong for Drew.
Well we finally got a room two hours later and the doctor came in and said that it was not a stroke since he felt it on both sides of his body so what he did have was a complex migraine. Apparently a complex migraine mimicks a stroke. How can a migraine do that much? It is crazy. Well they gave him 2 shots in his legs but that did not help so they gave him some other type of medicine and that helped a little bit. They were going to do a CT scan but Drew decided to not go ahead with it since they said it was just a migraine. There was no need to have that extra cost if it was not necessary. Smart choice on his part but I think I would have felt a little better knowing that every little thing was absolutely okay.
Drew was super cute though. He kept apologizing to me saying that we could no longer go on our trip with the hospital bill we will be getting soon. I told him that it was okay and to not worry about it I just wanted to make sure he was okay. Well they said that he could go if he felt alright so we did and went to Walgreen's to pick up his prescriptions they gave him. We got home at 1230 at night and went straight to bed. I had trouble going to bed because I was still very worried. I did not want to go to bed, I just wanted to keep an eye on him and make sure everything was okay. He seemed better the next day but I was still worried. He took his medicine and rested most of the day, his medicine makes him tired and drowsy.
He is doing a lot better. I am still on my toes but I have calmed down a bit. He is still taking his medicine and resting and I am trying my best to do whatever I can to help him out and remind him to stay hydrated. We would appreciate all the prayers we can get. It certainly was the scariest day of our lives and I hope that we won't have to relive it again.

Fishing
Drew's dad really loves fishing and even makes his own lures. We got some fishing licenses and we all went fishing the other day. We caught 11 fish total. Drew was on a roll. He caught a fish on his first cast. Lucky duck. He also caught like half of our total fish. It was a fun day. Here are a couple of pics from our little adventure.
Oh yeah I'm 21!
I am finally 21!!!! Woooo! I am now legal and can buy alcohol and go into clubs without getting those ridiculous stamps on your hands. I do not think I will do either of those things though. I do not drink and well as much as I would love to go dancing with Drew, it's not Drew's thing :(. It's alright. Well last year I posted that I made it through my teens without becoming a teenage mom and other things. Still true for this birthday and I am happy for that. As much as we both would like a baby we know that it is best for us to wait a little bit. I do not see how people do it. You get married then 9 months later....hello little baby. Dude, spend some time with your spouse for a bit. You will not get that time back if you jump into having a baby. It is a lot easier to go travel and have fun with your spouse when you first get married rather than when your kids are all grown up and you are old.
I am going to share somebody's story. She got married when she was 17 and her husband was like 22 so he had to be her legal guardian before he could be her husband. Uhhh...weird! So she is now 20 and has a baby who is almost 2 and is pregnant again! She will have two kids before she is even 21. I mean I'm not the one to judge their situation but I don't think I could do that. If it is working for them and they are happy then good for them but I just think that it would be very hard for anybody to be in that situation and be financially okay.
Well anyways, my birthday this year was alright. I didn't go to Vegas like every other person in the world but I am totally okay with that. I celebrated my birthday the Saturday before. We went to Denver and got a new entertainment center from Ikea and had lunch at The Cheesecake Factory and then Drew treated me to a shopping spree at Forever 21. That was a great day! I had to work that evening which sucked and also worked on the day of my birthday but the Monday after my birthday we celebrated it with the in-laws. We had dinner and cake that my mother-in-law made. It was gorgeous. Here is a picture of it.

Spending Time With Your Spouse
Well since I have started my new job at Panda, Drew and I have seen less and less of each other. I hate. it. I have my job at school from 8-2 then Panda sometime from 4-5 to 10 at night. I work every day of the week now and so that means that I work when Drew has off so we don't see each other. I hate it!
Tomorrow is going to be my first Saturday off since I have started Panda and I am super excited about it!! We are going to go look at a couple houses then while Drew is at work I will do homework and go to lunch with my sister-in-law Christie. We are also going to Denver with Jeff and Jenny! I'm pretty excited about that.
We may be seeing more of each other now that Drew is no longer in his lead intership position and works 5-10 rather than 1-10 and today was his last final so he is done with school until fall. I also have Monday and next Saturday off so wooohooooo!!!! :)
I wish we could spend more time together. We have not really had that time together since we got married. We have both been working and going to school that I don't think that we have really taken time for just ourselves other than camping during spring break which makes me sad. It's the end of our first year married and I would have thought that the first year would be like they say the "honeymoon" year and well it has not been really. Jeff and Jenny are really a great example to us on spending time together. They have been married for about 5 months. They make time for each other, they go do things together, go on dates, take pictures. They are super cute!

Bridal Shower
My mother-in-law gave me a bridal shower on April 21. It was fun. I'm glad everybody was able to make it who showed up. There were some problems which I will not go into but just so "people" know, do not talk crap about somebody to their family and go to their party, if you do not like the person then why are you there? Grow up!
Anyways, it was a lot of fun. Got some presents like a crock pot, cookie sheets, cooling racks, cookbooks, kitchen towels, frames, etc.
Thank you everybody who made it a fun day for me and thank you mom (Shelly) for putting it together for me. I appreciate it.
Here are a few pictures from the shower.

Sad Sad Day :(
Well guys, it is back to house hunting for us. The house didn't go through. So like I said yesterday, HUD homes go to the highest bidder. Our bid won but we found out today that the bank would only allow us to get a loan of 110 because that's what HUD appraised it for. Even though it really is worth 130-140 we cannot get a second appraisal. Anyways, so the bank would only let us get a loan for that home of 110 and would have to come up with the 19000 over on our own. Pretty shitty deal if you ask me. Sorry bout my language, I am just super frustrated. So we cancelled it and we have to wait and see if their is a second bid in line if not we can rebid but we'll see.
We saw a couple other homes today but unsure about them. Man this is ridiculous. We just want to find our home already. I'll keep you guys updated.
